The Obvious Stops, Done Right
The Koules sea fortress on the Venetian harbor, the Archaeological Museum with the great Minoan collection, and Knossos just outside the city — these earn their reputation. Walk the Venetian walls to the tomb of Nikos Kazantzakis for the view the postcards don't show. Beyond the city, ask us before you drive: which beach, which mountain village, which taverna depends on the month you're here, and a local answer beats a search result.
The Real Cretan Olive Oil
Cold-pressed, early-harvest oils from small Cretan producers win international awards year after year — and the supermarket shelf is not where you find them. We ship this oil abroad for families and producers constantly, so we know whose tins actually travel: ask at the office and we'll point you to producers worth visiting and oil worth carrying home.
Delicacies and Local Meats
Graviera cheese, thyme honey, barley rusks, mountain herbs like malotira and dittany, smoked apaki — the food worth taking home comes from small producers and the market streets of the old city, not from airport shelves. The office keeps an informal list of the makers we trust; ask and we'll mark up a map for you.
Cretan Cosmetics
Olive oil and wild Cretan herbs feed a small, serious natural-cosmetics scene — soaps, creams and oils made on the island. Tell us what you're after and we'll steer you to makers doing it properly rather than souvenir-shop versions.
Art and Ancient Motifs
Ceramicists and painters across Crete work with Minoan and ancient Greek motifs — from museum-grade reproductions to contemporary work. Andreas knows the local galleries and workshops and is happy to make the introduction; serious pieces can be crated and shipped like anything else we handle.
When the Suitcase Runs Out
This page has a self-interested ending, and we'll admit it plainly: when you find more oil, art or cheese than fits your luggage — packing and shipping it home is literally our job. Bring it to the office, or we'll collect it.

When is the best time to visit?
Spring and autumn are mild and uncrowded; summer is hot and busy, especially on the coast. Every season has its case — tell us what you want from the trip and we'll say honestly which month fits.
Can you ship what I buy here?
Yes — that's the point. Oil, art, a crate of cheese, a carpet: we pack it for export and deliver it to your door abroad.
Do you sell Cretan products yourselves?
No. We ship them; we don't retail them. That's exactly why the recommendations are honest — we have no shelf to push.
